Are you a fan of Detroit Tigers outfielder Brennan Boesch? If you are, you can help save his college alma mater’s baseball program. The Cal-Berkeley baseball program has been eliminated from the school’s athletic program. This season will be it’s final. There is a campaign that is accepting pledges to help save the 118 year baseball program. If enough money is raised the school will reinstitute baseball. If not, Cal will be the only Division I school in California to not field a baseball team. As of last fall there were nine players from Cal currently on a major league roster.
