I love 2:54. I just discovered them and they’re already one of my favorite bands. This song/video has been stuck in my head for a while now.
2:54 - “You’re Early”
I really, really, dig this song. It’s darn good. It reminds me a little bit of Garbage. I actually had to make sure it wasn’t Shirley Manson singing. I love the track, the vocals, and even the cowbell.
I heard this the other day and forgot how good of a song it is. The Hollies had some quality tunes.
The is a cool tune. It’s been stuck in my head off and on for the last couple of weeks. It’s catchy.
Today is March 14th. It was like 80 degrees today. The calendar says it’s winter. Spring isn’t until the 20th. When I walked outside today there was sunshine and blue skies. I felt like I should be at the ballpark for some baseball. The best that I could get was watching the Tigers spring training game today against the Mets. Ironically I think it was warmer here in West Michigan than in Lakeland.
While listening to my ipod this song by the late basketball star/jazzman Wayman Tisdale (who once played his jazz in my hometown) came on. It’s not summer, but this song applies today. All I need is some wind blowing through some jasmine and maybe some tea.
Silversun Pickups - “Well Thought Out Twinkles”
Led Zeppelin - “Fool in the Rain”
This song has been stuck in my head for a while now. It’s a rad song. I bet it’ll be stuck in your head too.

I just got my Survival Guide Wildcat record. The color of the vinyl is so gnarly! I love this band.
If you need some levity, or just flat our hate Creed, then this video is for you. It’s the literal version of “With Arms Wide Open”. Pee pee nah nah blah. :)
I just discovered Real Estate last week, and I wish I had found them earlier. I love it when music makes you feel good and their tunes do that for me. I thought that this was a California band, but they’re actually from New Jersey. They just seemed to have a cool, mellow, California vibe to them. “Days” has some great cuts, including a couple of instrumentals. As of today Amazon has this mp3 album for $3.99. That’s all that I paid and it’s totally worth it.
